Lake Lednica/ Imiołki / Poland / 15.08.2019
Mid-August 2019. A hot day at the end of summer. We are on a camping site of the Patria Foundation, a special place, close to Lake Lednica. Here, the surrounding area hides the great history of Poland, overgrown with weeds and pastures where horses graze. The oldest legends of Polish heritage are sunk in the waters of Lake Lednica, carefree views, the heated air, picnic tables strewn with delicacies and liquor. Polish hospitality. The guests will soon arrive. She wasn’t going to swim in the lake today. And yet.
Desert/ Qatar / 22.01.2010
We were brought to the desert by Bedouin descendants. They brought us in off-road vehicles, just like their forefathers used to transport travellers in camel caravans. Before we got to where the sand was loose, they half-deflated their tyres to give the “camels” better grip. Off-road driving in the desert is like rocking a boat on the waves at sea.

Each photograph used during the journey stops being luggage, changes its destiny, takes on a new life. It creates a unique travel sack with a story in the background. Always just one. One shot, one sack. Luggage (no excess)
